My first visit to Highland cinema was great. We popped in for lunch on a whim. I had to put 4*, but my rating, if I could, would be 4.5. The only issue we had was that the chicken coupons had to be sent back. My son said they tasted weird. The husband tasted them too and said they were really turmeric tasting, and the yellow had coloured the chicken. Nothing was mentioned on the menu, and these were on the kids' menu, I believe. With allergies, especially. it should be printed that there is a "seasoning." But full-on turmeric isn't really that nice. I asked the waitress what was on them as it tasted weird for my kid, and she just swopped for more fries as he didn't have more chicken by this point.
Food otherwise was delicious. The pizza was great, but just a bit soggy in the center. It was absolutely fine to eat, but for myself, a thin base I like crispier, but otherwise, it was so delicious
Husbands Highland Burger was great he said.
The decor of the restaurant is just beautiful - the ceiling lights, fireplace and big windows make it quite rustic and chilled place to eat.
I'd 100% go back. Really enjoyed.

Friendly and helpful staff with a good range of choices and reasonably priced.
There's an outdoor area too and is dog friendly both inside and out.
Nice little place. We booked late so had front row which was absolutely horrendously close to the screen and made it to difficult to enjoy the movie. But the facilities were other wise really good. The restaurant at the cinema booked up really fast. So rebooting is recommended. Easy to get to as in centre of town.
Came here for dinner. Great interior setting and very cosy! food is great, varying from pizza to chips, nachos, and pastas. We did enjoy the fact that they had a projector on the wall of the dining area so it was nice to occasionally see some clips whilst eating.
The food was mediocre for the costing, the burgers were well nuked to the point it being as dry as an Arabs flip flop. Wetherspoons would have a been a better choice that night. Ashame really lovely setting and restaurant, if you're only going to sell burgers and pizzas you've got to do better.
We visited the cafe bar here for dinner, and it was a God send for us in a town where it seemed like nearly every other restaurant requires a reservation. This place was packed and busy when we arrived, but we were promptly tended to and seated even without a reservation.
We ordered the Chicken & Bacon Salad and the Spicy Salami pizza. Generously-portioned might be a bit of an understatement for the Chicken & Bacon Salad - it was huge. But also it was delicious, as was the pizza. In fact, the pizza even came with red chili on top!
Service was fantastic. The waitstaff were friendly and would come around to check on whether the patrons needed anything. At no time did we feel unwelcome.
If we had had more time, we would definitely have wanted to catch a show at the cinema as well.
We came here for a dinner after finishing the WHW and were lucky to get a table. It can get quite busy. Great place, beautiful interior. Non alcoholic beer selection was poor but craft beers and food is great. We had a pizza and a salad. Friendly young staff.
My whole experience was great here. The food was surprisingly tasty! I was expecting a average dining experience due to the venue being a cinema but there’s a kitchen and very nice decor that captures both the warmth and Christmas mood.
We had a bit of everything. The nachos were the perfect side dish, the Mac and cheese had a unique taste but we still enjoyed it. I’d say the best thing I had here was the hot chocolate.
On top of everything there were short clips, films and trailers showing in the dining area from a projector which I thought was a nice touch.
